School Library Journal - 05/01/2025 Gr 3–5—Caitlin's dad is a doctor on a cruise ship, and when she and her brother Dylan join him, they're expected to help as crew kids. Their usual chores include vacuuming and dusting, but when the cruise mistakenly books both the Kennel Club and the Fancy Feline Society, Caitlin and Dylan take it upon themselves to save the day—and prove that crew kids aren't useless. While the adults try to keep the two groups apart by restricting which floors they can visit, Caitlin and Dylan have a different idea and come up with their own plan. This book stands out with its unique cruise ship setting, well-paced storytelling, and relatable characters. Young readers will enjoy the fun premise, clever problem-solving, and humorous moments throughout. VERDICT A fun and silly adventure sure to delight young readers—a great addition to any collection. - Copyright 2025 Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and/or School Library Journal used with permission.
