Booklist - 02/01/2025 In the world of pro Beyblade, the goal of every blader is making it to the top of the competitive arena: the towers known as the “X.” Amateur blader Robin has been practicing and waiting for his shot, but the competition is fierce! Thankfully, he teams up with another amateur, Blader X, who mentors Robin and divulges his own reasons for climbing to the top of the X. The duo must survive many aggressive opponents with their disadvantaged numbers—their team of two against opposing teams of three. Writers Kawamoto and Muno have created a goofy yet lovable set of main characters within a world that has captivated young readers for many years, and this newest addition to the Beyblade universe is sure to be as popular as previous iterations.
