School Library Journal - 05/01/2025 K-Gr 2—This series follows the adventures of Jade and her pet dinosaur Indigo as she struggles to keep his existence a secret, passing him off as a blue iguana. In these volumes, Jade takes Indigo to pet day at school, finds a costume/disguise for him so they can visit the dog park, battles jealousy when Indigo forms an attachment to her new friend, and searches for him when he goes missing in the neighborhood. These short, simple tales will please young readers who like their problems resolved quickly. A glossary and facts are appended in each book, along with writing and discussion prompts.
