School Library Journal - 06/13/2025 PreS-Gr 2—A sweet little brown dog named Tobi and his beloved family take a trip to the park in this charming Spanish-language picture book. Together they journey to the park, where they greet other families and friends. Tobi enjoys seeing his friends—from small dogs to big dogs, small families to big families, groups who are quiet and loud and unique. All are different, but all love seeing Tobi at the park. Colorful digital illustrations bring the title character's environment to life, showering the pup with love and welcoming readers into a fun, peaceful world. Short sentences describe families and the activities they are taking part in on every page. Children will have fun spotting all the happenings on each spread as they try to locate Tobi and will be interested in comparing families. As the day winds down, Tobi returns home. His family has light brown skin.
