School Library Journal - 09/13/2024 PreS-Gr 2—Rhyming text tells of Santa Claus and Santa Mouse as they travel around the world delivering presents. Illustrations show scenes of a star-filled night sky and swirling snow as they make their rounds. A discussion of the very best gift has both of them agreeing it is friendship. So, despite a tight schedule, they take time to rescue a lost kitten and bring her home. Images on the front end papers give readers a glimpse of Santa Mouse from scenes throughout the book, while the back end papers show Santa Mouse and the kitten. Fans of the Santa Mouse stories will be pleased with his new friend.
